Crawling is upon us!

It's been weeks of watching him rock on his knees, flop on his stomach and squirm around on the floor. He even began pulling up to his knees, then to a standing position, but still no crawling. At 9 months and 2 days, he has it down! Jones is now crawling. Our life now pivots in a whole new direction as we realize we are behind in baby-proofing and can no longer feel confident he is right where we left him. Yesterday morning I got up with the kids and took this small video. He looks very uncoordinated, but he gets from A to B. Today, a whole 24 hours later, he is crawling around without any effort and much faster than yesterday. To top it all off, he showed off his new trick to my mom and Jenni on their last day here. It was great having family around for one of his milestones.
