Kitchen Construction Part 3
It’s so great to block out the world and focus for a few minutes. I am inspired to write a little more today as just walked in the door and the girls are yelling at each other. The yayas said they have been doing this for about an hour and keep fighting. So, they are in timeouts on their bed. Somehow that wasn’t enough as I still heard screaming. Now they are in “no talking and no getting off your bed timeouts.” You know, I am just winging it here…So, teething baby and screaming girls equals a quick blog to block it all out!
Just a reminder on what the kitchen will look like and the layout…
Now the next set of pictures leads us to the new French door where there used to be windows in the family room. These photos were taken on May 11th, about a month after the last ones I posted.
Here is the new French door that leads to the deck. No more triple window.
From the deck looking at the house. Isn’t it pretty!
No more sliding glass door, it’s a window now.
The new bay window from the outside.
The French door from the inside. Plus we had some hardwood laid right in front of the French door so that you don’t come right in onto carpet.
It’s starting to come together little by little. The door was my biggest delight. I love it! I hope it invites some indoor/outdoor exchange and keeps the traffic flow out of the kitchen.
